Sabujak Ieum Studio of Arts (SISA)

사부작사부작 이음창작소 

사부작사부작 이음창작소(Sabujak Ieum Studio of Arts)는 독립 큐레이터 도연희가 설립하고, 문화예술 전시 기획사 팀서화(김성우 & 도연희)가 운영하는 비영리 아티스트 레지던시입니다.

2021년 행정안전부 주관 ‘마을공방 육성사업’에 양평군 대표로 선정되었으며, 오빈1리의 역사를 담은 구 노인회관을 리모델링해 조성되었습니다.

​

해당 건물은 40여 년 전 마을 주민들이 직접 지은 뒤 오랫동안 유휴 공간으로 남아 있었으며, 건축가 김일환·박태원의 소개로 만난 아키플레이 김부희 소장이 공간 설계를 주도했습니다.

김 소장은 공동체와 긴밀히 소통하며 설계부터 시공 전반을 책임졌고, 그 과정을 통해 이음창작소가 완성될 수 있었습니다.

양평군과 어울림센터의 행정·법률적 지원, 오빈1리 운영회의 정서적 지원도 더해져, 이음창작소는 마을과 예술이 어우러지는 새로운 공동체의 거점으로 자리잡았습니다.

Sabujak Ieum Studio of Arts is a nonprofit artist residency founded by curator Yeony Do and operated by TEAM.SEOHWA (Yeony Do & Sungwoo Kim).

​

In 2021, it was selected for the Village Workshop Fostering Project by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and created through the renovation of a former senior center in Obin 1-ri.

 

Originally built by villagers 40 years ago, the space was revived with support from architects Il-Hwan Kim and Tae-Won Park, and redesigned under the lead of Buhee Kim (Archiplay Architecture Office), in close dialogue with the community.

With support from Yangpyeong-gun, Eoullim Center, and the Obin 1-ri Village Council, the studio has become a meaningful hub where art and community come together.
