WHAT WE DO 

사부작사부작 이음창작소는 팀서화의 운영 아래 매년 상주 작가를 선정하여, 양평의 작은 마을과 자연을 배경으로 다양한 시각예술 작업을 이어가고 있는 아티스트 레지던시입니다. 

 

‘사부작사부작’이라는 이름처럼, 자연의 흐름에 발맞춰 작지만 지속적인 창작 활동을 이어가고자 하는 취지에서 출발하였습니다.

 

사부작사부작 이음창작공동체는 공공예술의 맥락 안에서 대안적 삶의 방식을 실험하고, 마을공동체와의 상생 가능성을 탐구하는 청년 예술인들의 활동을 지원합니다.

이곳에서 작가들은 장르나 형식의 제한 없이, 공간에서 느낀 감각을 바탕으로 새로운 시도를 펼치거나, 오빈1리 마을 공동체와 접점을 형성하는 커뮤니티 기반 프로젝트를 자유롭게 실험할 수 있습니다.

Sabujak Ieum Studio of Arts is an artist residency operated by TEAM.SEOHWA, selecting artists annually to create visual works inspired by the rural village and nature of Yangpyeong.

​

Named after the Korean word “sabujak sabujak”—meaning quietly and steadily—the residency supports small but continuous creative practices in tune with the rhythms of nature.

​

It also supports emerging artists exploring alternative ways of living and sustainable community engagement through public art.

Artists are free to experiment across disciplines, respond to the space, or develop community-based projects with Obin 1-ri residents.
